I know this is going to sound so dumb but at least once a month i get mistaken for a girl. My hair is like down to my shoulders and its straight. Its really getting annoying and im raelly thinking about cutting my hair.Anyone else had this happen? Maybe hearing im not the only one this has eer happened to will make me rethink cutting it.

This brings back memories from the 70's; I was out with my friends from school at the mall (all of us had long hair)and one of my friends dropped his keys on the floor. None of us realized it. An old man came up and picked up the keys off of the floor and tapped my friend on the shoulder and said, "Miss, you dropped your keys". When he turned around and saw my friend's face and realized he was a guy (he had his hair parted like a girl), he got red faced. We all laughed!!!! People have to realize that this is the 21st century where equity is a two way street. You can't tell gender, sexual orientation, or an individual's education or social status by hair style alone anymore!!! By all means, don't cut your hair because of this. I get comments like this too, and like I did back in the 70's, I laugh at the person until he gets red faced. It's funny that what worked in the 70's still works now. I'm not surprised nothing has changed.
