i was just wondering how well deep conditioners work. if i start using one will i really notice a difference? also, does does the deep conditioner have to be like the same brand name as the regular shampoo and conditioner i use? like can i use frizz-ease shampoo and conditioner and pantene deep conditioner. cause i cant find a deep conditioner in the friiz-ease brand. ???
hey dude!! get the straightening balm yet?? does it work for u??
hey!! well, i havent found the time yet to go to a salon to find the straightening balm yet! I am excited to try it though, i hope it works. also, does straightening balm require blow drying..is it necessary? i dont want my hair to be dry or puffy. ive heard olive oil recommended for moisture and shine and control, and i bet it works great, but i dont want my hair to smell like olive oil, and i bet its really hard to wash it out. ok, now im just rambling.
I don't think you really need to go to salon to get straightening balm...I brought mine at local CVS!!! You need to blow it straight *with* a round brush first then use the straightening iron!!! Your hair might appear sort of puffy after you blow it dry but very flat after you use the iron!!! You better iron ur hair half hour after you blow it dry!!! If there are any damp hair when you iron it then it won't come out so straight!! BTW I've tried the olive oil..my hair did got all shiny and stuff but it also got VERY greasy and it still won't flat your hair much!!
chris,
whether or not a deep conditioner works really depends on the type of hair you have to begin with. . .mine is kinda coarse, so they work GREAT for me. . .most stylists tend to recommend deep conditioners periodically anyway. . .
no you do NOT have to use the same brand of conditioner, shampoo, yada yada yada. . .use what works for YOU. . .advertisers may want you to *think* you have to use the same brands, but i have found this to be far from true.
