Everyone heres this terrible word sooner or later, and I am tired of hearing
it! Mulltet is short on top, long in back, not long all over!
Has anyone else encountered this?
yep! i have. there are some who belive anything less than "all the same length" is considered a mullet. . .far from true in my book. to me, billy ray cyrus (his old look, not necessarily his new look) *defines* mullet. . .but long layers all over certainly is not.

1. Any of various stout-bodied, edible fishes of the family Mugilidae, found worldwide in tropical and temperate coastal waters and some freshwater streams. Also called gray mullet.
2. The red mullet.
