Have any of you found it difficult to obtain a job in Florida without being required to get a short haircut.
Many of the job's in this state are service oriented and the employers are trying to appeal to what they refer to as a "family oriented tourist" or "professional" clientele.
Personally, I don't think the clients care how long a guy's hair is as long as they receive excellent service and get their money's worth.
Have any of you out there undergone similiar situations where you live, especially Florida?
also are there any Florida Long haired Men who have beat the system and have prestigious careers?
Two years ago my two brothers and I traveled to Pensacola to clean out our late grandmother's house. My younger brother, a tall strikingly handsome man with blond hair mid-back, went out to the nearby Waffle House for a meal, and came home complaining that he waited more than a half hour before anyone took his order, even though it was a quiet night and he was sitting at the counter in plain view. As we talked, he realized that he was probably the only longhaired guy in the place. That was our introduction to Florida.
