Last spring I noticed a birds nest built under the corner of my covered parking space. The nest was well constructed using long human hair to weave the other materials together. I realized the hairs were mine that I'd regularly cleaned out of my car. This nest revealed to me the nature of life for humans.
Mankind was placed on Earth by the Creator to grow long hair and travel about the land so that as individual long hairs are lost the birds will be able to use them to build their nests.
I can't think of any other reason the Creator would create humans. Okay, maybe to move seeds around and fertilize them, or to move water around.
So, next time you're combing or brushing your long hair be sure to save the lost hairs someplace then take them outside and share them with the birds. How and where you move and deposit seeds and water is up to you.
A final thought. If you decide you really have to cut off your long hair, at least donate it to the folks who make wigs for cancer patients.
Interesting. I will remember this from now on when I brush my hair.
They are not in need of hair at this time. They have converted thousands of donated pony tails to about 200 wigs to date. According to their website, most of the recipients are not cancer patients but children suffering from alopecia areata. Most of their donated hair is sold to fund their operation. If it's going to be sold anyway, I suggest just selling it outright.
Better, of course, would be to keep it long. :)
