Here is another link for you to look at.

When you view this article, you'll become extremely angrey.
as i journey through life i try not to give things beyond my control the power to anger me. that someone is willing to display his or her ignorance for the world to see is more of a source of amusement. not only did God give woman AND man the ability to grow long hair, God did NOT create scissors, neither is there a biblical passage deeming them to be good upon their invention by MAN. these people are very good at putting words into God's mouth justifying in their own minds their most demonic and unholy narrow mindsets. i would think that the obsession with imposing one's own taste in style on others to be more of an affront to God than growing out the hair that He has blessed us with.
people such as this really are sad. . .as a Christian, i see these issues as dividing issues that only serve to further the wedge between the world and relevant Christianity.
i have always attended church, God is a BIG part of my,(no, He IS my life) i graduated from a main-line denominational protestant seminary, and guess what?! I HAVE LONG HAIR! God is much more concerned with the attitude and condition of your heart.
First Samuel 16: 7 says "God sees NOT as man sees, for man may look at the outward appearnace, but the Lord looks at the heart."
God could care less whether or not we have long hair, short hair, or no hair. . .He is much more concerned with our attitude, our heart, and our relation to Him.
Since you are not a hate monger, why call yourself a Christian? You don't seem bigoted enough to be called a Christian. If you're not like the rest of the sheep, maybe you, Jesus and God are not sheep (not wolves either).
If you call yourself a Christian, your long hair or talk about a god of love isn't enough to convince me you don't support bigoted policies.
Tut tut!!!
"Let him who is without sin cast the first stone" - Jesus.
... and so His followers didn't cast stones at the prostitute.
But, today's christians would probably cast stones at Jesus by continuing to support laws that persecute prostitutes. I don't believe today's christians are true followers of Jesus.
A careful reading of the relevant passage would show that the people involved were NOT followers of Jesus, but people who were trying to trap Jesus into saying something that would get Him into trouble.
(Much like people today who condemn Christians simply because they are Christians).
Which statement precisely proves my point in my previous posting. Jesus was not condemning the sinner, He was condeming the sin, and I personally know many Christians who make every effort to emulate this. One of them actually runs a clinic for people like prostitutes.
Did you stop to think that you are showing the same intolerance against Christians by assuming that they (all) do not follow the teachings of Jesus? Admittedly there are many who bear the name Christian who don't follow Jesus' teachings. But this does not give anyone reason to conclude that Christianity is wrong, unless they looked objectively at a very very large number of Christians (and I stress the word "objective" since someone who looked only for something wrong may miss seeing all the good things that are to be seen!)
Enough of taking up this board's space for theological discussion. If u want to continue the discussion email me.
Remember, in my book, whatever you may think of Him and His followers, Jesus loves you.
