Thick hair

  Hello. I hope someone can help me. I've been growing my hair out for a few monthts. The problem is I have thick, wavy hair and right now its getting kind of long but growing wide too. :) Can someone help me in how to get it straight and not so thick?

    Everyone goes through the 'wannabe afro' phase, it's probably the worst part but it'll be over in a few months. The best (and probably the only) thing to do is to try using gel or mousse to tame it. Good luck!
