I'm 19 and my hair line is starting to become a very distinctive MPB shape (no hair at temples, still in the middle of my forehead though).
This means that I can't leave my hair loose, as the front sides are very thin (if you imagine, there is hair from the middle, but not a little lower down the sides so there is only one `layer' of hair). As this isn't much hair to cover the region it doesn't look that good. You see my temples and the front sides of my head though it. I'll post photos if it'll help later today or so.
When I tie it back sometimes the front most hairs `seperate' and skin is clearly visible. I really don't like it :-( Nightmare...
I've no idea what can be done, but does anyone have any ideas of how it might be cut to minimise this, so I can have my hair down ? I've never managed to get to the stage of being happy to have my hair untied, before it was too short and now this...
It's pretty long at the back, below my shoulder blades.
I think a picture would help before anyone gives advice...is your hair dark or light?...that could make a difference...is it curly or straight...curly hair in this situation can be a benefit.

I'm really hoping for the impossible I think :-( If only it was thick enough at the front sides I'd be really happy. It's generally really nice hair.
(My skin looks a bit bad in the flash though ;-) )
Are we our own worst critic? You look great and I really don't see (from the pictures provided) any "problem"...most of us guys have some MPB to contend with...
The best pic is the middle one, with the hair brushed back.

Maybe you are studying yourself in the mirror too much. I see absolutely nothing to be concerned about. Compare these pictures, for example.
It is normal for there to be a boundary zone where the hair is thinner. In fact, it looks fake if there is not such a boundary zone. Sculpting of this boundary zone is what makes the difference betwen a good-looking and a fake-looking hair transplantation job.

dont be silly it looks great I think your comparing it to the
hairline of a woman just realize that the natural shape of a mans hairline is different than a woman and it looks real and be happy
with it .It looks great when You have it down too.
