Everyone else I know with long hair have nice long hair that is perfectly straight and managable. So I've been trying to grow my hair out. I am 17 years old. The problem is my hair is so thick. I wanted to comb it down on each side with a part in the middle but it seems to stick straight out the sides. I look like an airplane. Plus I have and undershave so just picture that. I am asian, my hair is thick, black and has lots of inmanagable waves and curls in it. (I wish I had a picture) If I comb it back, it just "poofs" out into ugly weird looking waves and curls and does the same even when I use gel or hairspray. Plus my hair grows incredibly slow. Can anyone help. Maybe tell me what products would help or what else I can do. Please email me some help. I don't get to surf the internet much, just to check my mail so please do not post a reply. I might not get to read it.
Try tieing it back into a ponytail so it lookls neater.
