Thanks for the info. It does clear some things up. Interesting description -

So, I guess in China they only have vagrants while here in the US we call them homeless. Go figure.

Some of the homeless or vagrants have nice looking wild hair. A few years ago when I read that some barber shops offered free haircuts for the homeless, I was disappointed to hear such news. I think they look better with long hair.
I like the wild hair look myself! Trouble is, people equate the wild hair with savagery! That is why the long-hairs are being vilified, while the skin-head gangs are doing the terrorizing! Some people have a poor sense on what grooming is. They seem to equate good grooming with short hair. Don't they know that LONG hair can be NEAT? Take, for instance, the prisons, where convicts are sentenced to the IDIOCY of Pete Wilson's State Government, whose mind-set is back in the 1950's! This is why more people are joining the Libertarian Party, because the STUPID state government has dumb and out-dated ideas that they FORCE on people, by incarcerating more people through more repressive laws into the custody of the DUMB state government!
