i am going for it ...its ben 4 years so far how much longer will it take????
It took me just over 7 years for my hair to reach waist-length. I let it grow to about 3 inches past waist length, befoire I had it all buzzed off for a movie...but that's another (traumatic) story. Good Luck

My hair was down to my waist until when I was 11, my modeling agent told my mother to cut it short. I cried and cried, holding on to my long platinum strands for 3 days!!! It was traumatizing! It grew again and reached my waist 6 years later. I NEVER cut it again except for trims! ^_^ I can only imagine how you feel...

Miaka - are you male or female? The name doesn´t seem to make it clear as far as I´m concerned. Would be a nice notion that if you are male you wore waist-length hair as a child and then grew it out again. How old are you now?
