I have shoulder length hair, with a lot of body and curl now but want a more feminine look--something shorter but very sexy and girlish. Anyone have any ideas? I don't mind looking really feminine, so don't worry about that.
A chin length or longer bob with bangs would be great. I have a bob to below my ears with bangs and love it.
Thanks. That sounds great. Do you have a pic showing how that looks? I have been wearing bangs for several months, but the new look you suggest may be the thing to do. What maintenance is required for a bob? Is it easy to maintain?
Oh bobs are great. I actually do have a couple of pictures but I don't really want to post them on the open internet. No telling what could happen. I'm just a little shy about that. i could e-mail though. Anyway, a bob isn't hard to keep looking nice. I have a trim every 4 - 6 weeks. Is your hair straight, curly, or wavy? I have natural wavy hair but I blow it straight each morning. I love the shape, versatility, and movement of my bob. Right now it is stacked in the back too. I sometimes let it grow out but the stacked look is nice too. I like to change my bob up a little every now and then.
Mine is like yours, naturally wavy but I can also blow it straight in the morning. I am going to make an appointment with a beautician and will ask her about a bob. It sounds great, and doesn't seem like too much work to keep up. Thanks for the advice.
Your welcome. Just let me (us) know what you do and how it looks.
I happen to love long hair on a guy and the more feminine the better. A stylish long cut is the way to go - have you ever thought about a shag cut - you know like a 70's cut - they really turn me on. And I know a shag can be cut more or less feminine. Many guys, mostly rock star types had the shag in the 70's. ( David Cassidy, Rod Stewart and many more. Let me know what you think. Also the bob is a nice cut on a guy or a wedge (dorothy hamil). Let me know, I'm a hair freak. Take Care....
One word: implants.
I would just look at contemporary Japanese men hairstyles. They're very cute and very androginous. Interesting cuts, colors, and they dare to have it long too. ^_^
Miaka.
That sounds interesting. Do you know any links to pictures with
examples of long contemporary Japanese mens hairstyles?
Great suggestion. Thanks. I'll look into that. I gather you like them, so it may definitely be worth a try. I may have to give my hairdresser a lot of looks and then try to choose the sexiest and most feminine of them. This will be fun!
Thanks. That is another great idea. It sounds very sexy and feminine, which is what I want. I am going to look at all of these options and make a decision soon, but your idea sounds exceptionally good. I agree that pierced ears would add a lot, and I may have mine done. Double piecing? I'll look at that for sure. Thanks again for responding.
get that shag, you hot guy, with gorgeous long hair. send me a picture
email me at jim0424@hotmail - i'm so turned on by a guy who wants a woman's haircut. i really want one myself. i'd love to chat with you.
You'll never regret it. I have 8 ear piercings (5 left, 3 right) and love them. My hair is just about to my waist, and I always let it flow loose. It feels sexy all the time! Since I'm very dark, I wear a lot of pink shirts too--looks great!
You add a lot with the piercings and you will like it, but you should definitely do multiple piercings in both ears from the beginning. I made 3 in each ear at first and later have had two more in the left ear and 4 more in the right.
Regarding the hair I think that you should go to a womans beauty salon and get their advise on style/colour/curls/no curls and so on, so that you can get a style that fits your face and body. it is no danger in doing that Idid it as well and no problem with suggestions.
Myself I also use to wear some clothes in pink, which adds to the feminine feeling, like pants and/or top, yes I even have pink skirts and dress, both ankle length and short.
If you really like to look feminine I would also suggest some make-up, which can be very masculine as well, but with a full make-up of your face and the nails done I'm sure that you can find a very feminine style. I sometimes also ues make-up and nailpolish, it feels great and is great fun.

Do you have a picture of yourself in makeup? I'd truly love to see some other men's pictures who are experimenting with makeup. I've only worn fingernail polish and some lite lipsticks so far.

Hi it's Jim again. I am so turned on by the fact you want a woman's haircut. I have always fantasized about going to a hair salon and getting a woman's haircut and frosted and ears pierced, the whole nine yards. but I live in an area that wouldn't easily accept something like that. Where do you live? I'd love to talk to you. Please e-mail at JIM0424@HOTMAIL.COM. or anyone else who reads this and wants to respond, I'd love to hear from you.
If I had pretty thick shoulder-length hair, I would definatly try setting it in a good "flip" style. You set it in medium-size curlers in an over-the top brick pattern until you get to the bottom-back. Then you roll the last six rollers or so under to make the flip. Try it.
Yes! This was a popular style in the 60s for men and women both. Look at some of the rock stars from those days... the source of many an uncomprehending "Is that a boy or a girl?" remarks from elders who just didn't get it.
I think pigtails look and feel great, and can be quite feminine too!
