Hi guys,
Just to deviate from the heavy discussion going on here about TIMO not cutting his hair, lets lighten up with some fun stuff. Heres the game. I will post 5 known long hair myths and facts. Each poster thereafter shuld post 5 more myths or facts about long hair and so on. Lets start.
1) Hair grows downwards after a while. No matter how wavy/curly your hair maybe, after a certain amount of time it flows down. (This time depends on har type)
2) Long Hair men are not homosexual most of the time.
3) There is no way to avoid awkward phase. Everybody has to go through it.
4) Frequent trims dont speeden up the growing. It sets you back in growing.
5) Hair straightening when done excessively can really damage the hair.
Cheers!
Ok, this sounds like fun. I agree, the board is getting carried away with sensitive and off-topic discussions such as religion and feminism.
1)Multi-vitamins accelerate hair growth
2)MPB is hereditary
3)Split ends are caused by bad hair care

Here are a few:
1) If one looks at old postcards or photos of Expo 67 in Montreal (The montreal World's Fair), one sees lots of long-haired young men in the crowds.
2) In the whole period of the Middle Ages (AD500 - 1492), men always had long hair.
3) One could spot some men with long hair in Berlin of the 1920's (The pre-hitlerian times).
4) Most criminals have long hair, and that is why prisons in California (and some other states as well) forbid long hair on prisoners, as to add to the punishment.
5) Long hair was very popular in England in Shakespeare's time.
It would be fun eventually for people to post their answers, as to these statements being true or false. The subjects can be researched on the web or in a library. One great book to consult about century by century hairstyles is titled "Fashions in Hair", where one can look up hairstyles from the egyptian period to the 1970's.
Have a nice day
Georges in Montreal.
