I decided to try a side-part as something different for a change. It has a more conservative look than normal long hair which may help in job interviews and the like. I quite enjoy this look. My friends liked it too. It is also an alternative hairstyle in overcoming the awkward stages as the hair stays away from my face. I might start wearing this style to work as my hair isn't long enough for a ponytail yet and also because it "tames" my hair and looks neat.
It is becoming a common trend for members of the board to "blot" their face out of pictures. I understand their need for security and anonymity on the net. There are strange people that lurk around here. Not to mention the buzzboard , who take it on themselves to steal our pics and jeopardise them. However , i don't think i will make a habit of covering my face as :
A) I don't really care
B) Everyone knows what i look like already

It is a soothing feeling to not have to worry about split ends anymore AHHHHHHHH...
I enjoy it as well. It suits you surprisingly well with your hair wet - I honestly didn't expect it look that great, since I've never been a big fan of side-parts on either male or female. But you pull it off quite well.
I'm just concerned about how it looks when your hair is fully dry, though. Does it cause any "bouncing" problems when your hair is dry, as in your hair tries to flip back to its center part position? Or is it behind your ears on both sides? I could only see it behind your ears on the "short" side of the part. If not, do you just gel it down? Or are you done with gel completely? I've forgotten your position on gel. lol, position on gel...political haircare...this board cracks me up sometimes.
Other than that, great-looking length! And LOL, the white dots give you a techno/spacey look. For some reason, Darth Vader came to mind at first...
On a side side-note, I can't update my pics, or at least not with my camera; my USB cable for connecting the camera has mysteriously vanished. So ironic, because I took progress pics, even the infamous back shot. And I don't know many people with a digital camera that would be willing to take (multiple) progress pics of me...so my hair'll remain one of those mysteries Scooby and Shaggy never quite solved. Oh, well...maybe the cable will turn up.
Keep up the growing!
Thanks alot.
Yeh, it did stick up a bit when it dried. No gel used.Only water. I done the same side part today but left it naturally curly instead of brushing my hair. I left the fringe to sit over my ears which looks cool. I prefer it curly even better.
Just buy a new USB cable. They are cheap!
I can hardly blame them, and, it is really a NEAT look!
I am with you on that one.
I am so glad it worked-out so well. And of the worry? I worried myself as they became worse and worse. I mean who wouldn't when perfectly healthy hair is being destroyed because of Split-Ends? "Find and destroy!" Best thing you can do when it comes to snipping Split-Ends and ending severe troubles.
This looks far better than your previous hair style. Slick and professional.
Cheers!
Very nice! I've always been a big fan of the side-part (I used to look quite dashing with a side-part, ponytail and moustache if I do say so myself).
It suits you well, looks neat and keeps your (growing) bangs out of your face.
Isn't it great what we can do with longer hair!?
Hey
80S Metal mate
Nah I prefer this imagine of your hair mate http://photobucket.com/albums/a62/80s_metal/?action=view¤t=jp_bass.jpg
I suppose you will get alot of opinions on what other guys & girls prefer as that is just my opinion and mine alone so its everyone for his or her own !!!!
Take Care Man Axel
The side part looks great 80s. It gives you a great alternative style, and if it goes down better at work, that's all the better.
I still cannot keep my hair behind my ears for very long since my hair is still so short. I must put it back a hundred times a day! The good thing is that when it does fall forward and hang over the ears, the part that I keep tucking behind the ears has a nice curl backward so it doesn't just hang straight down on my cheek. I don't like the way that looks at all.
I should try an offcenter part and see how that works for me, although it might be too soon.

I like the side part! You're hair is so curly it's really cool! Mine has not enough curl to be cool and too much curl to be straight.
