I've bought some of the tail cuff's mentioned here. Today stopped in to a Native American shop and found some similar things there.
Basically, was a silver and turquoise piece of art about the size of a quarter. A metal loop was soldered onto the back and an elastic tie looped through it like on a tail cuff. It was hand made craftmanship so set me back $55.
Also found beaded berets with claps that are curved to hold pony tails. I was able to find one in "guy" colors. This was only $12.
I've been using "Hair Glove" pony holders when out riding on the Harley - There are alot of us on bikes wearing them in the area. Sold primarily at Harley dealers, a little pricey (18.00 for the 8 inch one, I think 14 for the 4 inch one) but I think they have a web site now (hairglove.com). Just picked up 2 of the animal prints (leopard & cheetah) yesterday!
They come with a band and the Hair Glove hooks onto it.
