hey all!!!!
i know the rate at whitch hair grows cant be increased but can growth slow down?? over the last 5 months my hair has grown 15cm at the fringe but this month (start of jan) it seems like theres been no growth at all...is this just my mind playing tricks on me or is it possible that my hairs growth is slowing down?
Nah, I think it's just your mind playing tricks on you! I went through the same thing. Then I just stopped thinking about it and a few months later when I paid attention to it again, there it was - longer! At some point, hair growth just doesn't seem to be as noticeable, but I'm sure it's still growing at the same rate.
I highly doubt that your hair has grown 15cm in 5 months. You probably measured wrong, miscaluated the length remaining at your starting point etc.
However if for some reason you do have an abnormally high rate of hair growth, which seems to be slowing down...then all I can say is: welcome to the world of normal hair growth rates!
Just curious: how tall are you (i.e. as it may be pituitary related)?
yea my bad....it was actually 10cm... It should still be in a previous post somewhere

definately not stressed....im on holiday..........but i have been sstaying up much later and sleeping during the day more
Well, sudden change in your bio-ryhtm could explain growth stunt of your hair. Also, try to get as much sleep as you can! Lack of rest would be the best explanation for your problem in my opinion, if anything.

During winter, hair growth is slowing down. I have seen that on a scientific intenet site. 15cm during 5 months is quite possible but very very rare. My hairdresser said it to me. You are a lucky man :)

10cm during 5months = 2cm/month : it's also very good ! I have presently 1,7cm/month because I take vitamins, oligo-elements and finasterid (I lost too much hair). Before, I had 1,3cm each month
