Yes 80sMetal, I did it too! But it took ages,
had to spend the whole day on Friday to "Search
and destroy"! (of course there could be some odd ones here and there, but I cannot see them any more so am happy)
Then I sprayed my long healthier locks with baby oil
made a braid and wore a hair net (funny look but less messy).
The next day, I shampooed (Sunsilk) and conditioned
(Fructis), there were hardly any tangles and the hair was
so soft. I am very happy.
Thanks for the natural recipes to keep hair moisturised.
By the way a big question: why can't I spray my hair with
water (mist) to keep it humidified, not wet, then in good
moisturised condition?

Anything that makes your hair look and feel better is
a wonderful achievement.
Good Luck!
THANKS!!!
I feel so much better mentally too!
It is also linked with what is going on in my life.
Sometimes I need a new head / makeover and this
was it for me.
IT took long: i was busy the whole day!
A relief now!
Thanks for your encouragements.

Congrats! It seems as if i started it and now guys like you and Deanof316 are also courageous enough to fix the problem yourselves too. Great news. We don't need hairdressers when we can do as good a job, if not better, and not have to worry about forking over lots of money and contantly being cynical about how much length the hairdresser is cutting off. Glad you are happy.
How long did it take you? It only took me about 1 hour maximum.
As I said it took me a WHOLE DAY!
I've been doing that for years, but I don't do it all in one sitting, I do a bit at a time over several days.
