Well i got my hair cut last on september 22nd when it was quite long. 4 months ago. Its going well,this is my hair straightened. no split ends and im gonna carry on growing! just thinking of what it will be like by about august. when i center part my hair at this stage though it looks stupid,im hoping for one when it gets longer though. any comments on my hair welcome,things i could do with it and help on my way to become a long hair!
your hair is going to look very nice when it's long and so far you are doing pretty good styling it in the 'awkward phase'

Even at your stage your hair looks great.......and by todays standards it IS long compared to ever so many. Just a tip: DON'T have another trim for (if you can hold out) about 2 years. If you develope severe Split End troubles just go after those hairs, nothing more. It will look the best in the end if you let it grow out natural. Hey Fabian well what a coincidence - my last cut was also 22nd September. I have been trimming the sides tho just above my ears cos it gets so curly, and the back too, but Im letting it grow as much as i can. I may get it styled in march / april cos its just getting so messy!
Your hair looks wicked, it looks really easy to style, I wish mine was not so thick and spongey, its really weird texture. Its straight but quite wirey and very stubborn, and its all growin different directions. Gonna give it a few months and then maybe get it straightened, thinned, styled, and relaxed.

your hair has made good progress until now (and of course it will much more with time) and it seems u handle the awkward stage very good ... (my hair looked awful in that stage)
keep growing and PLEASE AVOID trims ... i made the mistake myself to hear to other people's opinion (trimming hair every 1/2 year will make it grow faster and that kind of crap) (before i found this board) and got about 4-5 trims in only about 2 years (each trim took away about 2 cm) ... thats about 10 cm "loss" in 2 years ...
