If somebody could help me with this, I would greatly appreciate it.
See, I have a normal hair cut that could EASILY be combed back if it weren't for the big cowlick that occupies the whole front of my hair. So, when I do comb it back, the front waves back, and from the side, makes me look completely ridiculous. If I had any way of training my hair out of it, I would be saved. If somebody could get back to me about this, I would be very thankful. Feel free to e-mail me. My ICQ # is 68154563. I'm on it quite a bit.

Hey...
Cowlicks are caused by the natural direction of your hair growth. There's really no way to "fight" a cowlick; your best bet is to find
a style in which you can brush/comb your hair in the direction of
the cowlick rather than against it.
Good luck!

As your hair grows longer and longer, the weight of your hair will make it more trainable, and this will become less and less of a problem and will likely go away altogether. It may even give your mane a distinctive swirl which you'll like! As for now, you're just seeing one example of all the evil things that can happen to us during the "awkward hair stage". :-)
I can relate to you. I've had a cowlick in the front all my life and it is a struggle to get it to lay nicely. My daily routine usually involves me plastering it with hairspray. If you get any decent advice, I would like to know. That guy who thinks that it is just an "awkward hair stage" doesn't know what he is talking about, 'cause I've had this all my life.
