Yeah, so I've decided a maintenance cut would do some good for my hair and myself. I mean, the ends of my hair are uncut since June,2005. And those ends aren't getting any nicer; and another thing to consider is split end damage. Split ends are only in the ENDS right? I'am thinking half an inch trim or maybe a full inch.
Anything I should do before I head into the salon? I still despise the hair salon I go to. "HAIR CITY" CA SAN JOSE. Been going there since I was little when my mom wouldn't let my hair grow any longer. These ladies shred through your WET hair with a BRUSH as normal procedure. I swear, they treat my hair as if it was perfect and straight. I have thick,unruly,dry and wavy hair. Forget hair city. I'am gonna try something different ANY SUGGESTIONS on salons that specialize in MEN LONG HAIR or long hair in general.. thx so much for reading all this. sorry if i bored you. I am scared as hell..you don't even know. they mess up here and I'am going shaved..
Best bet: find a longhaired guy in your vicinity whose hair looks like what you want to achieve and ask him how, who and where he trusts/goes to get that result.
