Hi everybody,
Well, I decided to grow my hair longer, but the problem is that it's very thin. It's about 8 cm now and looks terrible, it's flat and lifeless. Imagine Gollum from Lord of the Rings with just a little more hair. That's me. What can I do do make my hair stronger and thicker?
I have recently purchased Aussie "real volume" shampoo and a matching conditioner. Granted my hair isnt very long, but the shampooing and conditioning gives the hair noticably more life and well... volume! I recommend :)
You could try using henna; that tends to add a lot of volume to "flat" hair.
My flippant answer is to get your hair doing some weightlifting to bulk up. The real answer is that you inadvertently have the hair some others find the most beautiful of any type. Not that it helps you in the way you would like but it may provide some perspective.
You know TV, that same hair you see as flat and lifeless becomes amazing with length. Finer hair with limp texture picks up movement so easily and looks so alive. Walking creates a side to side wave that can be seen flowing down the length. That can be absolutely stunning to watch, it is mesmerizing. I don't know how long you want to go but know your hair can be gorgeous at whatever length you end up with, TV.

Hi TV,
I absolutely agree with Elizabeth,
the hair will really become amazing as it gains length - just hang in there and be patient. Believe it or not, you're on the road to great hair.

Wow, thank you guys. Ir made me feel better. Maybe it WILL look good when it's longer...
Grow, baby, grow! :)
