i have some questions - maybe you can help:
how long is hair after about 3 year of growing at "normal" grow rate ?
how long was YOUR hair after about 3 years ?
(e.g. midback, waist, shoulder, etc)
i am concerned about terminal length so it might help to get some info - maybe i post a pic the next days but i have to organize a camera ...

"normal" grow hair is about 1cm each month, more in summer and less during winter. Some "lucky" people (like me), often between 12 to 30y old, have much : 1,5 to 3cm/month ! I'm 52y old and presently (it's winter here in Belgium) I have 1,7cm/month :)
Thus, after 3 year, we can have from 36cm to 108cm (pfff , incredible, LOL). I have let grow my hair since aug. 2004 and until september 2005 I had obtained 18,2cm more that means on average 1,3cm/month. But since oct 05 I take multivitamins + finasterid (proscar) because I lost too much hair. Presently, I have thus 1,7cm/month average growth and my hair reach now 32cm on top (= maximum length)
Now about terminal length : since I take vitamins, I havn't more problems. My hair is very strong. But after shampoo I put conditionner, presently Dove (but also l'Oreal or Pantene) with 2 kind of silicons inside. Hair is more protected and stronger.

After about three years and two trims...I think it would average about 15 inches...no sure what that would be in centimeters...my trims were very minimal...about a quarter to half inch. I, sad to say, experience terminal growth at about 18 inches...not much growth after that.
Last time I grew my hair, I grew it for 29 months with only one trim.
My hair was about 40cm or so when I cut it all off.
(Just short of mid-back, although barely so. D'oh!)
