Hi
I am looking to add shine in my mid back brown straight hairs. I have noticed that many ladies that dye their hairs have a nice shine in their hairs (mine are more dull). I was thinking of using colour that is matching mine in order not to have any regrowth that could show up within a few weeks as I wouldn't want to be forced to keep on putting that stuf in my hairs.
Now I am concerned about the possible dammage that this can cause to my hairs as I want to keep them for a long time because I want them to grow very long.
Is there anyone here that had this experience, I would appreciate any comment on that before to make a step that I could maybe regret. I also need to say that the product that I am looking for will never contain any amonia of course.
Thanks for your help.

Jean
OH MY GOD DON'T DO THIS TO YOUR HAIR!!! I don't know much about hair colors but I do know that they damage the hair! Women who color their hair sometimes have a lot of shine because they use products to try and counteract the damage caused by the coloring. You don't have to have damaged hair to use those. Try any laminator. Sebastian has a great one. ("Sebastian" the brand found in salons, not "Sebastian Bach" the musician/babe with long blond hair! ^_^)
Miaka.
Thank you very much Miaka.
I couldn't wait to have an answer about that. I appreciate your point very much and it just confirm the fear that I had regarding starting such a treatment in my hairs that are so precious to me now that I have allowed myself to let them grow.
I will definitively look after the suggestion you made and will report the result.
