hi
can i bring dry ends 'back to life'? They are not split ends, a few ends at the front, near my face, feel dry. Can i nourish them back so they feel nice again, like i see some shampoo and conditioners claiming?
thanks, and good site

Well, not shampoo, for sure. Make sure you're not shampooing your HAIR itself - just the scalp.
As for the dry ends, I suggest putting a lot of conditioner on them next time you wash your hair. Some conditioners are "better" than others for some people - it all depends on your hair type. What conditioner are you currently using?
ive started using warm olive oil once a week on the ends of my hair, ive found it to be more effective than most deep conditioners, and less expensive!
Ah yes, this can work too. You can use olive oil (warm or cold, though) or jojaba oil and apply it to your ends. I suggest rinsing out the olive oil if you use it throughout the rest of your hair, but definitely leave on the jojaba anyway. Apply the jojaba when your ends are wet, or so I've heard. Supposedly helps with tangles and keeps split ends away like apples keep away dentists (well, maybe that's a bad example, lol. Hasn't worked for me yet in 18 years, lol...)
Honey can also work. You can rinse it off after a few minutes or leave it in. Just don't use too much. Stickiness is kinda proportional to how much you use, and then you're in a sticky situation.
I've tried all of these except pure olive oil (I used an oil that contained it and some other oils) and they haven't had any negative results; the honey seemed to make my ends a bit softer. Hope these help.
