I seem to have alot of hairstrands on the sides of different length that seem to stick out everywhere, my hair doesnt want to lay down really nice without having to use water or styling gel, is that just because it hasn't got long enough to add some weight or what?, hope it will look better with a few months more growth.
I've also trimmed it 3 times on both the sides and back, maybe that could also be the reason, many of the hairs are different length.
Just stop trimming and give it some time. You are probably in an awkward phase.
Sigurd is right. You seem to be worrying too much about your hair, like when you "thought" you had split ends. Don't worry this is natural. Just let your hair grow thru the awkward stages and live with it. Use some gel if needed.
Please..........give-up on any more trimming as it is just going to keep you worse off when trying to grow out your hair. Tough-out the "Awkward Stage." That is the best way to arrive a longhair as quick as possible. All the present "uneven hairs" will vanish if you just leave your hair alone and allow to grow for another two years un-touched. "Trims" in the early stages especially are not such a good idea.
