Hi guys,
I have reached the 6 month mark now, so iam officially into the awkward stage. Unfortunately i dont have a camera so i couldnt post pictures. As far my hair goes, it is growing well, but really messy. My dry ends have been back to life since last month as i cut down on the times i shampoo my hair. jojoba oil did help. but there is one thing that i noticed. Lately i am shedding lot of hair. I mean, not massively but comparitively more than previous months. Is this normal? Is this something that happens when u grow your hair long? ot am i losing hair? please help.
Cheers!
The most common thing is that as your hairs get longer, you notice them more when they shed; the same amount of hairs were shed when you had shorter hair, but you just didn't notice them.
You are not losing more hair. Because your hair is longer than before, you actually begin to notice your hair strands coming out in the brush/comb. You lose just as many hairs with short hair, but don't notice. Just try to use the "finger-combing" technique after using lots of conditioner on your hair and do not comb or dry your hair with a towel vigorously like you may used to have done.
Take it easy!
Hi Kumar !
Great to know the growing is for the best but bad we cannot see any pic. How long is it now back, sides and front when stretched down ?
Cheers,
FF
Thanks mate,
I dont have a camera and got no money to get one. :(( . But i will try to post something sometime. My hair is really curly/wavy. The length doesnt really show up. But when pulled down my side hair reaches the end of my ear, front hair touches my nose tip, back hair is halfway down the neck. But it is super messy. :-S
Cheers!
