Hey guys,
Just a few funny pics i tok of myself when i came out of the shower with loads of conditioner in my hair before i washed it out. I gotta get away from the conventional progression pics because it gets boring, repetitive and predictable.
Most of my spit ends seem to be gone now. I am buying a sharp pair of professional salon scissors since the ones i already have aren' sharp enough and can only exacerbate my split end problem. Don't even try telling me i don;t have split ends. You can't seem them in the photo. They reside at the back of my head and to the untrained eye it would go unnoticed.
I have started side parting my hair and ponytailing for work. Not only does it look very neat and presentable it keeps my hair out of sight, out of mind, when i am work. There is nothing worse than constantly brushing bangs out of your face when you are supposed to be lifting boxes, packing stock etc.
Something you might find funny. I went for a jog this morning on my local bike/walking track. Seeing that i play zero sport and do little physical activity i really need to exercise my body. I used to think that only overweight people need to exercise but i was very wrong. I feel so much better already. I have more energy, stamina and endurance and my lung capacity has increased. Also my sinus problem seems to be much better. This is after one jog, imagine the benefits after a month, i might consider doing it daily to keep fit.
Anyways take care guys.
oh and here is the pics, lol, almost forget to upload them!

Hi 80s,
hey, that looks really cool, your hair is getting better and better - keep up the great growth! It's good that the split ends reside at the back so that they are hardly noticeable. By the way, I got rid of split ends myself by doing nothing - except for adding some dimethicone/cyclomethicone anti-frizz lotion from time to time.
All the best, and have a great summer!

Hi 80s,
All I can say is that your hair looks vibrantly healthy. That's great that you got rid of the split ends.
Those curls are going to look even more amazing when you get added length and gravity transforms them into a variety of waves.
Thanks for sharing these.
Jason
Hey man, your hair is looking terrific!
'Longhair' is beginning to describe you!
Keep it growing definitely, and keep doing the cool (varied) updates that you do.
As for the exercise thing...it is most certainly something that you should be incorporating into your life-personally, I highly recommend it!
P.S. You should watch the next season of "The Biggest Loser" as it is set in Australia, with 16 or so Aussie fatties. Great, great show IMO.
P.P.S. I got a ticket to see Opeth in April-can't frickin' wait!
Very nice! I've seen them twice so far, the first time being better for several reasons, and I tell you that you're in for a good show. :)
Thanks alot! appreciated!
thnx
i will
Yeh, i have seen the preview. We are suckers to Americanization of popular culture. Why do they insist on making an "aussie version" of all these crappy american shows?
We should do something original for once.
BTW, i am not fat. I am just very skinny with lean muscle tone.
However exercise is very beneficial for me.
cool man.
Glad you're so happy with your hair now. It looks pretty long now even with the curls.
How long (or old) does hair have to be before you start to even think about checking for split ends? I am almost at 8 months now. Split ends are not a concern but I don't know when they should/could appear.
As for exercise, I would think performing and packing/unpacking your gear would give you plenty of exercise. Maybe not aerobic exercise though.
As for your Satan pic, now I know who you owe for such wicked hair ;)
Lookin good!
Thnx man.
I don't think there is a particular rule or procedure for this. Everyone's hair type is different and if you take good care of your hair you may be able to go 2 years without split ends, who knows ? Unless split ends start appearing on your head and you start getting harsh tangling and knots i would not worrry at all.
When i started growing i used alot of gel products and i didn't conditioner my hair thoroughly a i do now.
LOL
LOL
80s, how can you see the hair at the back of your head good
enough to know if you have split ends? Or is somebody else
doing it for you?
Easy...look in a mirror. Tilt my head to the side near the light. Also, grabbing a locks of hair from the back and pulling them over the front of my head for close inspection.
Have you ever tried using two mirrors? Face away from a wall mirror and look into a hand mirror. BINGO! The back of your head.
For 15 months you have done really great. Your hair looks to be about as healthy as anyone could ever wish for.
Side parted long hair is a really neat look.
Lots of fun things can be done with long hair........and the best thing of all is that no matter what you try it almost always looks great. Kinda like an all-win situation!
Thanks for sharing the pics.
Great looking hair 80s!!
Thanks for the update
Oren
Thats super progress!
I'd love to see some photos of your ponytail!
Well, keep up the good work!
Mogh
Very nice, man. You're really getting some awesome length. Your bangs are way curlier than I thought, especially when wet (funny how that works out, isn't it). And LOL on the demon pic!
It is looking good, keep growing.
