  saw a sticker at the university of lincoln on a vending machine saying 'boycott coca-cola' because of the atrocities they've committed in colombia (killing trade union members) and some rightwing moron wrote on it 'if you're a hippy lefty loser'.

  i'm sure one of the local tories wrote that. just something to tell you guys

    Hi Luke,
    this poor kid who didn't know any better than to scribble a slur needs compassion - he (assuming it's a male) probably is repressing his own hippie-ness, and very unhappy.
    By the way, we have our share of that in Germany, too. My suggestion for dealing with it is, let's spread hippie-spirit by performing "random acts of kindness", as some old-style hippies suggested - that'll make us happier, and it'll turn the world into a slightly better place.
