Every morning i take a shower to completely wet my hair, after i get out and it dries for a little while i go to put it up in a ponytail. and when i pull back on the damp hair to tie it back i notice ends of curls of my hair on my hands and in the sink. I have to tie my hair back because my job demands it, so i cant get around that. but i dont know why the ends of my hair are always breaking off, im not pulling to tight or anything. if anyone can give me some incite about whats going on i would appreciate it.
Before overreacting keep in mind that it is perfectly human to loose 70-100 strands of hair a day. Somedays this number is almost doubled if my hair sheds heaps. Don't exert to much force while brushing/combing while hair is wet. Also towel dry your hair thorougly before even thinking about putting your hair in a ponytail.
I read this from another website. I heard that the average life span for a single hair is two years. So you lose a number of hairs each day. You just notice it more often when you have long hair because the hairs are longer.
no i think its 6. 2 years would mean the longest anyone could get their hair would be about a foot
