How come your hair feels really good when you get a salon wash, but everyone says that you shouldn't shampoo your hair a lot?
Most salons use water softeners and other filters on thier water systems. If you have a softener system on your home hwater you'll have the same results.
If that gives good results then how come a lot of people don't get them in their house //// how would i go about getting something like that installed, anyone know?
I don't know where you live but in the U.S. we have Culligan and other companies that will install the system in your home.As for the cost of the units,I can not help you with that.I know when I visit my mom in New Jersey(I live in So.Cal.)she has a water softener in her home and I notice a big difference when I shower and wash my hair. Longhairs rule!!
Hey, I have an idea:
How much does it cost to just get your hair washed at a place, say Super Cuts? If it's not expensive, wouldn't it be a good idea to get your hair washed there?
I know just about everyone in this town has one as we have well water which is very hard. Know that you can pick one up from Sears. Don't know if there is not a place in America that doesn't have a nearby Sears. You can pick one up for about $300. they aren't that difficult to install yourself but am sure if you aren't talented then you could get your plumber to install.
