I have started tying my hair in a ponytail occasionaly, like when i am at work. Apart from obviously keeping my hair restrained and out of my face it makes my hair look neater and more subtle.
I can brush my hair back into a ponytail but i much prefer this style with the side part. From the front it looks as if i have a rather conservative 1950s kinda typical hair cut.
Do you guys think i am an ass? oh well don't worry, some people are just unintelligent and stupid. It is kind of funny that they have only posted a mere 1 or 2 messages on the board here and one of those is directed to me without knowing how i am, just prejudging and making cowardly insults against me.
Front view-
Bangs sit nicely behind my ears since they are not yet long enough to go in a full tail. Looks neat and tidy, presentable.
I believe i could go for an office job interview with this style.
The old man Gandalf beard...uh, don't even ask about that one, just having fun with graphics editing.
Back view -
Hair combed neatly and then wrapped with a hair tie. Is this a 'dead rabbit'?
I don't hate ponytails, i love their practical benefits, i only dislike when i see long hair guys that wear a ponytail like 99.9% of the time, long hair isnt supposed to be restricted 24-7, let it out for once.
Ok that is all. Don't worry i won't be posting more pics until aleast a month now, i have a well documentd archive of my growth up till now. Cheers.
You're right! I'm surprised how casually formal and presentable that side-parting looks from the front. This is definitely a style to consider for those seeking job interviews, unless of course they brush their hair back before ponytailing it. It seems that a center-parted ponytail is the least formal of all low, relatively shoulder-length ponytail styles. I assume segmented ponytails are better as you get more length.
Lol, it's just a baby dead rabbit.
My ponytail doesn't even have a shape yet...it just looks like a bunch of curls from the barbershop floor stuck together in a ball. Scary stuff. I'm not planning to wear a ponytail out for a couple months, since I don't plan on using gel to help slick it back.
I know a guy at college with really curly hair who keeps his hair in a tail 99.99999987999 (don't ask, lol. I hate math. It just looks like I'm good at it) of the time I've only seen him with his hair down 3 times in 5 months, and to me, it looks better down than tied back, but hey. Most of the other longhairs here favor ponytails over loose, but will at least let their hair down 30 - 40% of the time. Girls let their hair loose less than the guys here, funnily enough, and like they're on some OCD-inducing pill, they'll undo and redo their ponies and buns multiple times each class. It's crazy.
Ah, and long curls are in the minority for guys at this college. I only know 2 with curly ponytails, and a couple others apparently growing out their hair.
Very funny.
LMAO! HAHAHAHAHAHA
You'r killing me man. You are so funny and the way you describe things is hilarious. Don't worry, it will "shape up" as it gets longer.
yes, it is kinda silly, but hey let them do whatever they please, it is their own hair at the end of the day. Whilst driving in the city today i saw a tall guy with waist length wavy, orangy colour hair. His mane was out and flowing , it looked INCREDIBLE, i was like one big FFFFFFF... word! i was in awe seriously.
Seems like you have alot of longhaired guys in your school. I went to a conservative Catholic school which was single gender and our restrictions on hair length was very strict. Hair couldn' be too short and it couldn't be over the collar. I had this wierd ugly short haircut in most of my teens, very sad.
I like the side-part style, and wear it occasionally myself. It is retro, but I beliee that it is a style that remains timeless, and (is usually!) always quite classy.
By the way this guy you mention, sounds a lot like a guy from my Uni (Sydney University).
Was he very pale, and wearing mainly black clothes/all black clothes?
Whereabouts did you see him?
I think that could be him. I was in Petersham , near the TAFE.
He was tall(over 6 foot), pale, wearing mainly black clothing and a trendy hat.
LOL, i guess we both spotted him. I should have took a few photos of him and put them on hre but i was driving a car, lol.
His hair was wicked.
Yeah its him.
Great curls/wavy hair eh?
When I first saw him at Uni around 3 years ago, his hair was the same length that it is now. Awesome huh?
Its so cool that you saw him too-next time if you see him in the city and you have a camera with you, just ask him if you could take a picture for the hyperboard!
Hahahahaha Ditto 80s
Ive been doing the same thing of late for work due to wearing a face mask tie my hairback in a ponytail still aint a fan of them thought but you know that already haha
Regarding your comment on being a ass defiantely not but you are straight john bull with your comments and you say what you think at the time ! I myself fined you a very amusing guy as your comments make me laugh but thats me !

I don't think you are an ass, but the comment you made to the guy inquiring about Star in the Making was a little 'off-putting' to the poster when it was only a two line post and harmless enough. You have a knack for speaking directly which is not bad, but not always tact-filled, and sometimes good.
Your hair is looking nice. The ponytail looks good, but its more 'symbiotic-hedgehog-on-the-neck' like an exterior goa'uld or something rather than a rabbit.
I don't know why some love to keep their hair tied back at all times either. I really don't like to tie the hair back very often and only then when it is out of necessity from boating or dirty mechanic work. But yours looks nice tied back.
Hey 80's
That looks really great! You certainly are getting throught the Awkward Stage in the best mannor possible. Very inventive to say the least and a great look for when needed or wanted.
Being creative while growing out your hair, and even when grown out is fun! :-)
Justin
I personally think that you have the part a bit too far to the left. You may want to try having it more towards the center, but still on the side. Anyway, hair looks good tied back... but I agree, you should wear it down as much as possible.

While I personally prefer the look of a centred parting, your tail looks cool. You suit a tail very well.
And Ardroth - I tried to email you a few times last week but each one was returned to me, so I figured I'd wait until we replied to the same topic. You may already know, but the Earache site is warning people to ascertain the start time for the Nile/Decapitated gig - many tickets say 8pm but 6.30pm is the actual time.

its cute:) umm how come u don't come on msn anymore and chat with me:(
I can't. I seriously forgot my password and i canno't sign in. I realy don't care. I have my proper email adress which i use for all important and formal email messages. Chatting is a waste of time, now that i don't use MSN i spend less time on the computer and go out and exercise more.
so much for our friendship........
