I haven't gotten a real haircut in nine months. Currently, my hair goes at most a couple of inches or so below my shoulder line. I can put most of it into a ponytail.
I have a really horrible digital camera, obviously.
I also tried to take a picture of the back of my head. New angle! I couldn't get near the end of my hair. I was holding a digital camera behind my head!
My hair is actually very close to black. It looks a bit lighter in the pictures due to the lighting. Also, it's been fourteen hours since I last showered. My hair looks better in the morning before it gets kind of greasy again.
Looking absoloutly killer for 9 months. You look very similar and have a similar hair colour and texture to this infrequent poster who had the alias "Vegewarrior".
Use a wide-toothed comb to distribute oils to the ends.
If you want to take a back shot try getting your mum, dad or someone to do it for you.
I don't know Vegewarrior, unfortunately.
I have a comb, but it's a normal comb, so it has a very-thin-toothed half and a kinda-thin-toothed half. Are there combs with teeth between that of a normal comb and that of an afro pick (really, really wide-toothed)? Heh, confusing terminology.
I comb my hair often, because the resulting static makes my hair look less flat. This might be damaging, though. (At least I don't force it when I come across a tangle - I take the comb out and detangle with my fingers.) I suppose a wider-toothed comb would help keep my hair from looking greasy, because it will keep the oil evenly spread out, I guess.
I suppose if I wanted to take a photo of the back of my head I could just use the self-timer feature on my archaic digital camera. I might do that sometime.
So I bought a wide-toothed comb and Garnier Fructis Long and Strong fortifying shampoo today. Good idea.
That's amazing that you can almost do a tail after only 9 months. How long was your hair when you stopped cutting? It looks great now. Your hair seems similar to mine.
Keep it growing!
The last time I got my hair cut it was... normal length. I guess a single hair would have been about two inches or so from the scalp.
Well, my hair has always grown quickly. I used to get a hair cut every two weeks. It got to the point where my mom would always cut my hair. My last hair cut was sometime in April 2005. In late May, my bangs were getting so long that they started to curl up as a result of my glasses being kept under them. My parents were saying that if I don't do something with my hair, I'd have to get it cut. So I started combing it over to the side, and eventually I started to part it in the middle.
I'm sixteen, by the way. Also, I took these pictures today. (It seems the title of this thread could have implied that I had these pictures before.)
Despite the camera, it is obivious that your hair growth so far is fantastic. Looks great!
Good luck with continued growth.
Your hair looks great, despite the blurriness in the photos. Keep growing.
Absalom
9 months, wow what length did you start growing from? My hairs only a few inches longer and my last haircut was coming up to 17 months ago!
