Saw 80s Metal had some update pics so I thought I would post one of mine since I have similar hair. Been growing about 10 months. Started with about 2 inches of hair. Goal is shoulder length but I wanna look like jack white's mugshot.

Some quality curls you have indeed. Give that scalp another year and you will have dead-set killer looking long curls. Keep it up. Jack White has straight hair.
looks great! i love the curl and volume. if i was you i definitely wouldn't want to straighten it. it looks way too great in its natural straight. but in the end that is up to you =) great progress.
