Daniel Radcliffe now has a short hair cut. Looks quite good, but not continuing to grow out.
OTOH, Rupert Grint (Ron) has slightly longer hair than in Goblet of Fire. Keep growing it Ron! (I mean Rupert!)
LOL, you wouldn't exactly strike me as a typical Harry Potter fan, Elektros. I think i have seen one of them movies. Didn't he always have short hair, as far as i knew? maybe a bob cut or something? I do that aswell, i always notice people's hair over a period of time to see if it gets longer or shorter.
My son is 12, and we have both read all the HP books, plus all four of us including my wife and daughter have seen all the films and have all the DVDs. I am typical in the sense that I am a middle aged dad. I almost never see any films that aren't mostly aimed at children. Maybe one day you will know what that's like!
Our heroes have been growing progressively longer hair in each film, starting from shortish hair and no doubt having regular trims. As the other poster said, Daniel (Harry) cut his hair for another film, but before that they seemed to be slowly growing their hair out together. Of course, Hermione (Emma Watson) had longish hair to start with, but I'd say hers is longer too.
To be in character, Harry's hair has to be an uncontrollable mop, but that leaves scope for a lot of variation in length. To be honest, his hair has always pretty much laid down flat in the films, so it's never been right according to the books. At least it's the right colour. I hate it when actors have different colour hair when I have read the book!
This was for a non-Potter film he has just made.
Will be interesting to see which way Potter goes in the next.
Every time I read about Ron's handsomely longhaired brother Bill I keep wanting him to show up in the movies. No such luck so far.
KidsPost said the next movie began shooting Monday so Daniel's shorter version will be what is in the movie unless they have done a bit of movie magic on his hair.

Lucius Malfoy's long hair looks good, but he is a bad guy and it's a wig!
To be consistent with the books his hair just has to be messy, so anything long enough to mess up fits, and I doubt if they would do anything more than that, if that.
