Hey guys..long time since I last posted here..hope you're all doing ok.
I've always had a problem with my hair and it's starting to bug me quite a lot.
If I part my hair exactly on the middle I have (much)less hair on the left side...how come? This has been happening for almost a year and a half and that's why I always part my hair a bit to the right. Is this normal? Have you guys experienced this?
Later! Diogo
My hair is thinner at my left temple than at my right. but the rest of my hair is fine.
So did you say you had no problems before a year and a half ago?
Well, I started letting it grow two years ago..so...it was almost in the beginning that I noticed that...maybe at my 7/8 month of growth..almost a year and a half ago.
Diogo,
It's probably nothing. We live under the illusion that both sides of our face/head are mirror opposites of each other, but some subtle and not so subtle differences appear. Your hair amounts would be an example. Facial hair on men may be uneven, grow in patches that are uneven, or grow in different direction and even different colors on the two sides.
You've got the perfect solution--part it slightly off center.

Yes, it is normal and I have experienced it as well. What you see as your hair grows long enough is your "Natural Part Line" which is never dead center. No need to worry. But, if you try and locate "dead center" with a comb the natural part will begin to show up right away. (Hair has to be long enough of course.)

My hair is about 5% longer on the right side. If my hair was only shoulder length, this would be barely noticable. But when you consider that 5% of 40 inches is 2 inches, it becomes VERY noticable. Also, my hair is a bit thinner on the right as well as being longer. Kinda strange huh?

Seems I saw a photo of hair last year, from the back, and it was knee length...did you cut it?
No, I did not cut it. You may have seen a photo of someone else. My hair has not been trimmed in many years. That is why it is uneven as you see in the photo.

Thanks a lot for the comments guys. It helped a lot.
