The bottom part of the back of my hair is growing just as much as the rest of the hair on my head. All very well and good, but, it is startin to do the flip up and lookin a bit goofy. Is it a good idea to trim this and let the upper hair fall over the shorter bottom hair?...if i trim it, will it ruin my plan of puttin it in a ponytail?
The "Flip up" (and there will be more) is just all part of growing ones hair. A phase we ALL had to go through to get where we are. Eventually all will fall into place.......unless you get in the "trim mode" early on. That road leads nowhere. Just let it grow and know that the flips are normal at your stage. Good luck.
Whatever you do, DO NOT trim it. I made that mistake when I was growing my hair, and I have regretted it ever since. Your hair's still gonna flip when it grows back, and it will eventually.
While you're in the Awkward Phase, your hair is going to be flipping all over the place. The front, the back, just about everywhere's gonna flip. Just leave it alone, it'll go away when your hair gets longer. Trust me, I speak from much (and fairly recent) experience.
