he even cites this board.
Funny?, I have had better success with LONG HAIR!!! What a bunch of narrow minded shallow freaks. I value individuality greatly and not what society wants me to be. I am my own person and no one will take that away from me.
It's whats on the inside that decides are future, not the outside. I am hard working, intelligent, friendly, and have good morals. That is what will decide my future, not the length of my hair.
You all laugh at me because I am different! I laugh at you because you are all the same.

we accept them for being homogenous conservative types but they dont seem to accept us
i wonder why they hate long hair so much? i mean it doesent really mean much about someone mentally exepts perhaps there self image....maybe there just angry because they are pressured to look the way they do and there jealous of people who are free to look how they like??
whatever they can think what they want and post progress pics as much as they like, it doesent affect me!!!
well that link leads to a buzz site - i've visited that site a few times and alot of the board members are very intolerant, conservative and low-minded ...
fortunately some of them are "normal" and tolerant and have nothing against guys with long hair and if you read the responses to that post, other boardmembers think that the guy "sean" has a problem with his psyche ...
but the best thing might be not visiting such sites - a kind of nazis are everywhere (in this case: "hair-nazis") ...
if u have seen the movie "equilibrium" it's like:
- we (the longhairs) are the people which decided to feel
- the "standard-hair-style guys" (shorthairs) are the people who follow the government in that movie and don't feel

Hello everyone,
In the 1640's there was a war pitting the "Cavaliers" and the "Roundheads". The Cavaliers were the Royalists supporting King Charles or members of his court. Despite being pro-monarchy, paradoxically, they had a jovial view of things, enjoyed theatre, good food, wine and the good things of life. They also adopted very long hairstyles.
The Roundheads, or Puritans, had "short hair", that means no longer than the shoulders, and Oliver Cromwell led an army of them to overthrow the king, and give him a head cut. Roundhead was a pejorative for Puritan. Despite wanting to instore democracy, and a parliament, paradoxically they made life miserable for people who wanted life to be enjoyable. They closed every theatre, and forbade all forms of entertainment. Anything "ungodly" was prohibited. This led to a Civil war eventually (And now something to occupy historic recreation buffs as well).
Conclusion, it seems that the kind of crowd that enforces or imposes short hair on men, is quite "puritan", and even after so many centuries there has been conflicts between fans of long hair and fans of short hair.

but id have to say that makeing a country into a democracy rather than being rules by a king is a fairly good cause.............but it looks like they did it in an angry buzzcut way instead of a laid back cool longhair way!!!!!

Even if you ignore their haircuts, their puritan religion was pretty oppressive. So there you have it, choose between autocrats or religeous maniacs. Sound familiar? It ought to, if you look at the middle east today. Democracy doesn't always deliver sweetness and light.
That was awesome... I burst out laughing several times, and was definitely entertained. That guy should get a publisher. What I gathered from the story is that guys with long hair have huge balls, while the short haired puss faces take the easy way out. Definitely creative... so I'm ugly cuz I have long hair? Tell that to the 10 or so women who email me every week using the board remailer (or I should say "former board remailer"), on top of the women who compliment me everyday in real life on my hair and general appearance... Sean's tiny little insignificant green-bean in his pants just fails to compare... Go climb your vag ladder Seany boy.

Success in Life is an extremely complicated matter.
Why do people still think this way. this guy seems obsessed with the 1950's hairstyles and seems to equate long hair with subversive behavior which was more common thinking back in the 1960's.
I've had short hair and I did register for the draft and I did not receive bags of money. What gives?
