I wondered if any of you are familiar with or have used American Crew shampoo and conditoner. I am interested in your opinion of the product. I used the shampoo and conditoner today for the first time and had a mixed result. I used a small amount of shampoo, as recommended, and after rinsing, my hair felt absolutely stripped, a too "squeeky clean" feel. After using the conditoner, as directed, I felt a tingling on my scalp, almost akin to a medicated shampoo. It has been an hour after I dried my hair and I still have an, almost, itchiness on my scalp. I looked at the ingredients on the bottle and surprised by the many plant extract used in the products...so am wondering if I may be allergic to some of the extracts used. So, would appreciate any advice you have regarding this product.
I had some American Crew shampoo which I tried briefly. It seemed to be very harsh- drying and frizzing. After two tries I tossed it.
