Buzzboard stuff comes up here now & then. The first time it was brought to my attention, I went to their site... I couldn't believe the narrow-minded statements I was reading (presented as if they were "facts"). I posted there; but had to learn the hard way that it basically falls on deaf ears. Another board member here kindly encouraged me to leave their world alone, and they're more like to leave us alone, --- so, this is what I do nowadays. If it's something REALLY bad (like an infraction of people's rights here, --- like stealing a pic from here, which they've done in the past), bring it to Victor's attention.
And WE are not totally devoid of believing in fiction, either... last week I read somebody's reply here that said something like, "All longhairs should learn how to become swordsmen, --- if they don't, they aren't true bretheren." Gee. That makes about as much sense as stuff I read on the Buzzboard. I should start my own fictional interpretation of what a longhair "should" be: "All longhairs should learn how to do C&W dancing, --- if they don't, then they aren't rue bretheren." There, now I'm in an elite club of one (well, actually 2, --- William from Chicago does C&W dancing, and he's growing his hair back).
Here's some hair facts:
1) Mother Nature has gifted us with the ability to grow our hair, male or female, to fairly long lengths. Genetics and and things like age determine the specifics from there.
2) Human beings have invented scissors. Hair is very easy to cut to any length now, including... OFF!!
There are the facts. Period. Anything else you read on the topic is either opinion, or issues of society on the subject (again, opinion). Guys who frequent the Buzzboard like their hair short. We who come here like it long. And just think... we are the lucky ones who get to view life on our blue planet the way Mother Nature intended!

Some people are pathetically ignorant and have no idea how hard it is to actually grow and maintain long hair. Jealousy leads to offensive behaviour.
i dont understand how cutting your hair short can be considered normal!!!!!!!!
people are genetically disposed to grow there hair long.............thats why terminal the terminal length is usually 30-90cm not a buzzcut!!!!!!!!!!!
that brings me to another question. why do conservative buzzcut types believe longhairs are less sucsessful or even lesser humans..........reminds me of the mindset americans had withblack slavery
Exactly. But idiots are going to believe in idiotic things, regardless of facts. In some cases, trying to present reason & logic to closed minds is equivalent to discussing politics with your garden plants. You can present the world's best arguments; but, still, your garden plants are just going to sit there, smiling stupidly back at you. Actually, plants are usually far smarter than conservative buzzcut types, because they know they can't disagree with you... and besides, they're more beautiful to look at, too!!

Rather than idiot, I prefer to think of him/her as
"that certain fellow who hasn't experienced the same events and doesn't have the same genetic-intellectual makeup and hasn't been led up to where I'm at through a series of random occurances, thus not thinking like me, being no less worthy or valid --all other things being equal--, even though I almost always don't always agree" type person.
I used to vote Republican, although I wouldn't do it now for all the tea in China, although I should say all the tea in India, because they now produce more!
What used to be idiotic to me, now makes sense in lots of things. What made sense then is idiotic now.

Wherein lies the problem? Aside from the fact that *everyone* feels (incorrectly) that their opinion is as valid as mine [grin].
