Just a little question.... does hair grow any quicker for people who workout at a Gym regularly? in other words, can sweating it out have any affect on hair growth at all?
I dont think so, but B vitamins should help.
personally, all sweating does to me is make my hair kink and curl slightly. *shudder* not nice. lately because i have hair down my back, it causes my back to sweat when im doing anything labouring. which then results in it curling up....quite irritating.
*cry*
To the best of my knowledge, sweating should have no effect on your hairs growth rate which averages for most at 1/2" per month.
hmmm. i have always wondered this aswell. In my case i work up a sweat during either walking on a hot day or if i go jogging for exercise. I think it may increase hair growth. Not only is exercise good for the body and stuff but also because when you sweat it purges your body of toxins. A healthy system can only maximise hair growth and overall well-being. Another reason is that maybe when you sweat it opens up the roots at the scalp and blood travels to the scalp, this may stimulate hair growth, just like a scalp massage.
I excersize a lot and sweat even more and my hair has either reached a very short terminal length or is growing REALLY slowly.
After 3 years it is just under 12 inches (30cm) long.
