well, i will hit the 6 month mark next week. for some reason lately, all of my hair has been great, but just the ends at the back were a bit dry. i could not figure out what in the world could be causing this. i never put shampoo on that part, i use loads of conditioner on it, and i massage oil into it after every shower. but, i finally realized what i was doing wrong. when i rinse out my conditioner i am facing the water with my head held down. this works great for the front of my hair. but basically the conditioner in the back in being rinsed up toward the top of my head instead of down. so, last night i rinsed the conditioner out of the back of my head with my back to the water so that it would wash it downward. i dont know what this actually does, but i do know that the ends in the back are fully revived and the dryness is completely gone. i was kind of worried at first but now it looks like all is good. =) i guess i am noticing these things a lot this time around. last time i grew my hair i dont remember ever noticing these little things. and my hair was still in pretty good shape. hopefully with the added attention it will only look better once long. =) just thought i would share. maybe it will help somebody.
