I'm after something that i can put in my hair to make it look like my hair is wet all day, even after it dries. My hair is ok dry but it looks its most awesome, curly and long ,when it is wet straight out of the shower. Moose is ok but i find it very hard on the hair once it dries . Leaving conditioner in after i shower may look good for about an hour but once the conditioner dries up my hair looks very weighed down and sticky . So my question is are there are greases or oils or other products that you guys know of that are good at acheiving this lasting wet look?
I'm very interested in this too. Recently I picked up some Garnier Fructis Slick and Shine leave-in and it works ok, but if there's anything better please someone let us know. :)
im from england bought it from the internet on a uk website but heres a link http://www.tropicaltraditions.com/virgin_coconut_oil.htm i know hollands and barrets health stores in england sell it.
the great thing about it, you only need the tiniest bit to brush thru a lot of hair! it detangles my hair and leaves it straight and hanging individually so to speak, also holds the hair well so i find it a life saver to myself. Gel, wax and mousse etc just didnt giveme the look I wanted and coconut oil helped me get the look without needing much of it at all and takes me seconds to rub and comb in and im off, i get home and my hair is still the same unless its really windy lol but nothin cansave you from the wind i guess haha hope you find the virgin coconut oil works well for you. it comes in a big big tub and lasts ages and shud be white... when you first open the bottle... it looks hard like a tub of beeswax or sumthin, but its so soft once you put your fingers in it and so easy to rub into the palms of your hand to apply... like really soft margarine haha but yeah... helped me alot =D also very good for the hair ive found.
I found coconut virgin oil to work well but it may feel too greasy for what your looking for. it may feel greasy and you think your hair looks greasy but others just think it looks wet when i use it. Any oil will probably make you think it looks greasy because of how it feels to you but others just see it as looking wet, this is what i find with coconut oil anyways =)
Where do you get this virgin coconut oil?
Well their is always the traditional vaseline type products (pomade as seen in "Oh brother where art thou?")
and the greaseless products like Groom and Clean (my dad used to use this back in the '70s)
