I've had frizzy dried-out hair and have tried a varitey of conditioners that are hyped on tv.
none of them seem to work for my mane.
what would you recommend?
Have you tried John Freida's Frizz-Ease products? I've been using the conditioner for about 2 years now with great results. Not everything works for everybody though so it's good to experiment with different things to see what's best for you. Good luck.

I've tried that Pantene Pro-V and it sucks. I'm trying Garnier, but the results are not what I anticipated.
I used Jojoba Conditioner. It's so soft and silky, I love it.
I often use l'Oreal or Dove and it's ok for me. Now I try to search for leave in conditioner.
