Hey people!
Long time no posting/reading haven't been online for a good while due to internet connection playing up, but it's sorted now which is cool :)
How is everyone?
Just a quick question, my layers are getting on my nerves because it's all big at the bottom; I was thinking of getting a trim but the only problem is my hair is curly and that means just delaying the process right? Any advice would be brilliant.
I will be posting a progress pic soon thanks!
Layers were a poor decision.
I will say it again and it's been said millions of times on here before...don't trim it , just leave it to grow and the problem will go away. That is the only answer.
I started growing my hair out from a layered cut - I've thought about having it all evened out sometimes, but I've decided to just let the top layers grow out to the length I want my hair to be, and then get a haircut to even it out. I don't want the hairdresser to mess up now, and then have to wait even longer for the length I want.
I made the mistake of having an undercut and my hair evened... but I love it now although id rather i hadnt had had an undercut and hair evened out but as the top layers have grown, it does look a lot neater but my hair is straight, people suit different styles of long hair I guess. The top layer of my hair is just starting to cover ears and fringe pulls past eyes but i think i suit my style more and i can see how long my hair really is now I guess but just go with what you feel you feel most comfortable with. My main goal achievement is long hair with an undercut anyway so its just a process of waiting now and my undercut is growing more and making it feel thicker anyways. At first it was the biggest mistake I did but after only a month its all startin to grow just how I like it/want it but before it never covered my undercut and i hated it haha.
Thanks for all your comments, maybe I'll try one more month and then do it I reckon it might be long enough to look alright
