I've got a job interview with Wal-mart later this morning. I'm not too worried about them fussing about my hair. It usually doesn't even occur to me that I have long hair. I just.. forget about it. Same thing with my glasses.
I don't even bother putting my hair in a ponytail, in most cases. My hair doesn't work well with ponytails. I figure if they really want me to put it in a ponytail, they'll tell me. And if they want me to cut it, well, I made that mistake once and I won't make it again. Anyways.. I should be getting to bed. I'm supposed to be waking up in like.. 4 hours. I've been sleeping way too much and way too late, lately..
Well, in other news, my hair seems to be improving since I've stopped washing it so much. I used to use a handful of shampoo and conditioner, daily. Now I use a drop of each dilluted with water every other day. Seems to be working. Well, I really ought to be asleep. Goodnight guys. :)
I will be absolutely shocked if Walmart asks you to cut your hair.
Almost every Walmart I've ever been into, even in smaller towns, I usually will see at least one or two long haired male employees. Walmart seems to be very employee-friendly in regards to any non-traditional physical characteristics. I guess that's the trade-off in contrast with their lack of insurance benefits, low pay, vendor gouging, and small-store-running-out-of-business style.
Good Luck at your interview! I'm quite sure they are more intested in your working capability than the lenght of your hair :) I Think you shouldn't worry about that. I also got a Job in a big firm (i'm apprentice in my second year now) with long hair! ... unfortunatly i cut it off 2 years ago when signing my contract o_O, well anyway it's growing again since approx. 6 Months (i'll post some pics...) and i'm quite motivated that this time i won't even thing about cutting it down again !!
cheers
