Anyone watch curling in the Olympics? I curl here in Manitoba, Canada. This is me at a curling bonspiel in January. I like wearing toques (knitted caps) and pushing all the hair down so it sticks out from the toque. It's a popular trend where I come from.
Cheers
I've been to Manitoba, --- in the summer, thank goodness! Beautiful part of your country, though, in my opinion. I'm originally from North of Chicago, IL, and grew up spending a lot of my summers in the Northern Great Lakes region (both US & Canada). I remember wearing those knitted hats when I was a kid, --- and was always jealous of those cool-looking kids whose parents let them grow their hair out, so it would stick out of the hats like that (lol)!
Now that I'm an adult (an old geezer, in fact), my hair is longer than I ever dreamed it would get; but I "suffer" with San Francisco's mild climate of daytime temps only down to the 50s & 60s most of the winter, --- I feel so DEPRIVED of f-freezing c-c-cold w-w-w-weather now (lol!)!!
