hey im just wonderin ive bleeched my hair like about 6 times although not all 6 were intense bleeching to white although 6 is a big number
and as a result my hair is really dry and without cutting it is there anything that can be done to help it become healthier or atleast not at risk of falling out?
Use LOTS of conditioner. I would also recommend some kind of moisturizing hair dressing during the day.
Hair is stronger than some of us believe;
treat it gently and you should be all set until it grows out.
Good Luck!
You should look into Garnier Sleek and Shine serum i use it once my hair dries.
Bleaching is the worst possible thing you can do to your hair. I would strongly advise to stop this activity.
Depending on how bad the damage is you may need to cut off all the hair and restart over again.
I think the same thing happened to Curt Cobain. He had mid-back length in the 80s and by 1990 or so he had a really short hair cut. Probably had to cut his hair because of all the permanent damage that bleaching inflicted upon his hair.
Good luck.
Just trim off an inch and let it the healthy hair grow out. No awkward stage.
I had a full head bleach on a couple of occasions about 18 months ago. Looked sort of interesting but I don't think I'll ever do it again. It certainly is a very damaging process and difficult to recover from until the hair grows out.
A few months ago (just before I decided to become a longhair) I had some foils done which looked good at the time, but I regret doing them in a way because once you bleach hair, then decide to dye it, the dye eventually fades back to reveal the bleached hair, which I consider a nuisance now that I'm letting it grow. So I now face the prospect of dyeing for a little while to cover it or just letting the colour take its own course, then progressively trimming the bleached hair out as it grows.
How long is your hair currently? If it's not too long, perhaps you might consider getting a buzz cut to get rid of the bleached hair. But then I assume it's not that short currently. Without cutting it I'm not sure what could be done other than using a good conditioner.

If you really want to change the color of your hair, dying is much better and less harmful than bleaching is. But again i may be wrong because i haven't ever bleached my hair.
Hi Jamie,
I'd try "anti-frizz balms" consisting mainly of dimethicone and cyclomethicone whenever you have washed or wetted your hair. When the hair has dried, try some greasy pomade for the tips. Try to avoid shampoos (they're almost unnecessary anyway), use conditioners instead.
The way you describe it, your hair seems to be almost white at the tips, and progressively darker as you get to the roots. So it should look o.k. colorwise if you simply stop bleaching.
Bleaching irritates the skin, which is considered bad. Having said that, some bald people have regained a bit of fluffy hair growth juts by massaging and irritating their bald scalp several times daily. - If MPB is a problem, multivitamins might be useful.
In any case, you probably still don't need any major cuts. - Post a picture of your hair if you feel comfortable with it.
Best wishes,
Hans-Uwe

this mite help kinda shows dyed hair and bleeched
Hi Jamie,
now I can see why you bleached your hair - you simply look great with that hair color and style! If you want to keep that up, just try bleaching solutions that are less and less aggressive (i.e. containing less and less H2O2), and take good care of your hair ends - that might work. Also, if you bleach yourself and want to continue doing it, make sure you apply the bleach only to the new growth, and spread it in your hair lengths only for a few minutes before you rinse it out.
Having said that, you are the kind of guy who'd look great with any hair color (including your "own" ;-) I'd say, KEEP IT LONG - whatever else you decide!

Try getting a good conditioner. I'd recommend something like http://www.dealtime.com/xPO-Jason_Conditioner_Thin_To_Thick_8_oz
Or maybe this one: http://www.drugstore.com/qxp93574_333181_sespider/shikai/color_reflect_conditioner_intensive_repair.htm
Getting a 1" trim will probably help a lot too.
one bad thing about having dark or black hair is that in order to change its color you will almost always have to bleach, and it is very damaging to your hair. If you compare an asian with dyed hair and natural hair, and a normal blond person, you will notice that the dyed hair feels rough and generally like a Barbie doll hair. Asian have a nice shiny natural hair and bleach ruins them. In fact some of the colors looks like the hair from mummies... dont bleach if possible, I think you should be proud of who you are and dont dye hair.
Go to a salon and have a deep con treatment takes about 1/2 hr under the hair dryer the cost is about $10.00. You can get it done at places like supper cuts, hair will be a lot softer. Last summer I had some dry spots from blond highlights i had done and that fixed it for me. My hair felt and looked real good after soft and shinny.
