...Major attention from women!
I mean the ladies have always liked me, but it's like in the last 2 months I've become God's gift to women.
Most of this attention (e.g. stares, being checked out etc.) is on the streets whilst walking or in public places, or random girls talking to me in bookstores etc.
Yet I'm a man! Not a piece of meat!
But seriously, the reason I'm telling you guys this, is because there have been posts in the past where guys have asked if long hair on a man is unatrractive to a girl.
I think in my case is that I'm confident (not cocky) with my long hair. That's the key I think for those who have asked the above question.
And if anyone ever says to you that you are 'hiding behind your hair'-that is only true if you feel like that inside.
So to those seeking love, keep on truckin', and growin' and feel good about yourselves.
P.S. I'm going on my first ever blind date this weekend. Wish me luck!

And you do raise a good point. Self-confidence/belief is paramount, but there are other factors such as social and cultural norms, where long hair is not only uncommon but unwanted.
That being said, sometimes these barriers can be transcended, and at the eevry least, we only have one life and being the best YOU you can be is what's important.
If that includes having long hair...

Yeah, maybe I should move somewhere where long hair is more accepted. I live in Southern California, USA.. and it seems like some people tolerate my hair, but not everyone. I get weird looks from people, and some people mistake me for a girl.. which is understandable because I do sometimes look like a girl, but still. It's kinda ridiculous. I go out without knowing how people might react, though I usually ignore people anyways.. I'm ramblin'.
Don't worry about that. You are a special, unique human being who happens to have longer hair than average.
So what? Be hapy and be yourself. Realise that others are good and unique even when they can seem so seperate and unwelcoming.
You'll be alright and you're still very young, just be optimistic.

It is good to get noticed by the opposite sex but at the same time i wouldn't want too much exposure as i like to have my privacy.
It has to be atleast 80% physical appearance since these people don't know you and maybe 20% confidence, self-esteem and how you carry yourself.
This is just a very comforting proof that females do find long haired males attractive despite what majority of views might say.
The only thing i can't understand is why this overwhelming attention has happened so suddenly, as you said.
It's like one day you wake up and your like a "chick magnet", i don't understand that, lol. You must be the most popular guy in Sydney! hahaha.
I wish I could experience something like that! Every so often I get a flattering comment from a girl, but it happens quite rarely.. like.. once a year or more.
