That braid rocks hard, Oren. You've come such a long way. It's truly unbelievable when you glance at your old progress pics.
I personally prefer the parted look, but whatever works for you! The brushed-back look isn't bad, really. Just a nitpick.
Wow, your hair looks so healthy. How do you keep it back like that, without a parting?

Yes, I do my own braid.
I used to self braid my hair when I had it long before. The "programming" is still there. Easy to do - hard to describe...

You have got some fast growing hair. I like the braid too. Very cool.
How long do you plan to let the beard get? I bet you will be able to braid it too soon. In the world beard championship web site, there was a picture of a guy with braids in his beard. It was sweet. He put several in, but even a single one or two would look good.

Oren, your hair is just AMAZINGLY SHINY, SOFT WHATSOEVER!!! Incredible... and you don't know how strong I am aiming for a braid! I leave the comments about your beard to other (I must admit that I'd shave all my face if I were you but oh well lol =) ) but all I can say about you hair is that I am impressed: because of the colour, the growth and the BRAID! Gongratulations fellow, you've come a long way right now and you did it so well. Fantastic! I had a look through your progress pics and was amazed how quickly your hair has has grown. Nicely got up site BTW.
You always look happy too, which is a plus (I would too with hair like that)!
No offence but I always think long beards look a bit 'pube-y' if you know what I mean. I think it's the texture of the hair that does it.
