my hair gets very tangly were my fingers evan get stuck when finger combing. this is usualy after coming in from outside where it is windy.
im wondering if my hair is so damnaged it tangles like crazy or is it the wind ?
please help.
A lot of factors go into tangles, Zack. Length, texture, split ends, external conditions... bunches of things make hair prone to knots. When you detangle with your fingers make sure you are being gentle. If there is a lot of tugging the hair in the knot can be stretched and deformed which makes it more likely catch into a tangle next time.
When it comes to wind it is your choice to enjoy it loose and detangle later or to protect your hair and save the work. You might want to regularly carry ponytail elastics and a hat if you go the preventative route.
